Simple Quinoa Recipe

Simple Quinoa


1 cup dry quinoa
2 cups water (1:2 ratio)
dash of salt


1.  Rinse quinoa using a fine strainer until the water runs clear.
2.  Combine 2 cups water for each 1 cup of rinsed quinoa, and add a dash of salt
3.  In a medium sauce pan, cook quinoa covered on low for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally
4.  Ready to serve


Use as a rice subsitute, or enjoy by itself.  Consider trying broth instead of water.
